Bonnie Peterson

Bonnie Mae Peterson, 89 of Rushford, died Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Valley View HealthCare and Rehab in Houston. She was born on September 16, 1931 in Austin, MN to Marcus and Julia (Hanson) Olson. On September 6, 1950 she married LuVerne Peterson at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lanesboro.
Bonnie and Luverne enjoyed going dancing. Bonnie also enjoyed trips with her TRW friends to Branson, Missouri and Nashville, Tennessee, playing cards, and collecting glass angels.
She is survived by her son, Louie (Eileen) Peterson; grandchildren, LeAnn (Danny) Wenger and Lance (Jolene) Peterson; great-grandchildren, Cadee and Logan Wenger and Olivia, Brody, and baby on the way Peterson; step-grandchildren, Jesse, Jaime, and Julie Barry; and step-great-grandchildren, Miranda, Taylor, Jacob, Emily, and Jayden.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LuVerne; son, Jerald; and daughter-in-law, Linda Peterson.
