Dear Lil and family,
I am so very sorry to learn of Scott’s passing. My heart goes out to you all. Lil, I know you and my Mom, Norma Standinger, we’re friends and she would tell me when she spoke to you and how Scott was doing although he was not ill at that time. Scott was always a really nice guy, I know he will be missed by many. Take care and God bless, Lori (Standinger) Bartee. [email protected].

I worked with Scott at the Oak Leaf restaurant in Austin when we were in High School. Nice guy, thoughts are with his family.

Lil. I just recieved the Austin Daily Herald, and saw that Scott has passed. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember waiting on you & Scott at The Old Mill in Austin some years ago. I am so glad I got that chance to catch up with him at that time. God Bless!

I knew Scott in Rochester years ago early 80's, and unfortunately we lost touch over the years, but he was never far from good memories. One of those people who once you met you never forgot, always there with a smile and a helping hand and a great heart, mind and soul. Sadly we lost one of the good ones. I wish we had stayed in contact, but life steers us other directions, my regret is not keeping in touch with him over the years, a loss I will never forget. My heart goes out to family, friends, and loved ones who will miss him as I do. So "cheers" to you my old friend.

Jan and Katie, I am so sorry to learn of Scott's passing. His obituary shows he was a wonderful Christian man who loved his family. Although it has been years since I have personally seen him I do remember his smiling face and welcoming spirit. May the peace of the risen Lord be with him in eternity and with you both. Miss seeing you all......Craig (Cousin and Great Uncle??)
