Yia Lor-Knepper, 32 of Trempealeau, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Rochester - St. Mary's Campus.
Yia was born December 4, 1985 in Dallas, TX to Nhia Vang Lor and Mai Vang. She graduated from Holmen High School. On March 28, 2009 she married the love of her life, Ryan Knepper and they had three beautiful children, Michael, MaryLou and Madeleine. Yia was devoted to her kids and her family and they meant the world to her.
Yia loved life and took every opportunity to to enjoy new experiences. She was artistic, creative and passionate. She enjoyed travel, reading, movies, decorating, baking and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, Ryan; her three children, Michael (age 9), MaryLou (age 7) and Madeleine (age 5); her mother, Mai Vang; her brothers, Vong Lor (See Xiong), Deng Vue (Mai Mao Moua), John Lor, Kong Lor (Yer Yang), Bee Lor (Kabo Xiong), Chia Lor; one sister, See Lor (Andrew Yang); Ryan's family, Mike & Teresa Knepper, Jeff (Jennifer) Knepper, Peter Knepper and Sarah Knepper and many nieces and nephews.
Yia was preceded in death by her father, Nhia Lor and her grandparents.
A family service will be held, for questions please contact Mike and Teresa Knepper at 507-452-1198. Yia will be laid to rest at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview is assisting the family with arrangements.
