Willie Johnson

Altura,     Willie Joe Johnson, 21, of Altura died Saturday morning August 23rd in a motor vehicle accident northeast of St. Charles.     Willie was born October 30, 1981 in LaCrosse to Craig and Vicky (Rud) Johnson. He graduated from Lewiston –Altura High School in 2000. Willie was a social person; he loved to be with friends and to play softball with his friends. He was formerly employed by Schwab Construction Company and was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ/ Evangelical Lutheran Church of America in Lewiston.     Willie is survived by his parents Craig and Vicky Johnson of Lewiston, four sisters, Amber (Andrew) Torgerud of Canton; Trina, Heather and Stacey Johnson all of Lewiston, paternal grandparents Keith and Beverly Johnson of Lewiston, maternal grandmother Nicky Rud of Caledonia and two nephews Judah and Ashton Torgerud of Canton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Willie Rud.      Funeral Services will be 11 AM Tuesday at St. Paul’s Church in Lewiston with the Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Lewiston Public Cemetery. Friends may call at St. Paul’s’ Church from 4-8 PM Monday and 10-11 AM Tuesday.Hoff Funeral Home’s – Lewiston Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
