Wendi Mueller

Wendi Jo Mueller passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Gunderson Health System in La Crosse, WI.

She was a private woman, but for those who don’t know, she was a major cat lady and loved to thrift shop. She was born in Winona, MN, and grew up in Wilson, MN. During her childhood, she had a special dog named Lady, goats, and barn kitties. She was the youngest of five girls.

Wendi is survived by her mother, Lois Munson; significant other, Chuck Williams; daughter, Marrisa Smith; sons: Corey (Selena) Speltz, and Logan Speltz; sisters: Heidi Dietz, Peggy Stockhausen, Kelly Moore, and Lisa Toole; two grandchildren, Ryan & Hazel Speltz, along with her bonus kids, Chuck Jr., Bobby, Casey, Dusty, and Brent; and her 5 beloved cats.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Mueller, niece, Trinity Peterson, and dogs Isabella and Maggie May.
