Susan Marie Smith, 79 of Grand Meadow and formerly St. Charles, died Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Grand Meadow Healthcare Center.

Susan was born November 6, 1943 in St. Charles to Thomas and Ruby (Fugleberg) Cox. She worked at Davies printing as a graphic artist for over 20 years. Susan was also a very talented artist and enjoyed painting. She also enjoyed being home and taking care of her flowers and her most loved dogs, Jingles and Oreo.

She is survived by her three children, Tracey Bush, Rick Smith and Jeremy Smith; grandson, Scott Bush; three great-grandchildren, Averie, Ashlyn and Bryson; sister, Kristi (Joseph) Stranik; brother, Steve Cox, and nephews and niece, Thomas, Adam and Erin.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 13 at the Hoff Funeral Home of St. Charles. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the celebration from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
