Scott Glenn Gerson

April 29, 1941 — June 18, 2021

Scott Glenn Gerson, 80 of Winona, passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 after a long and difficult time with dementia, at St. Elizabeth's Health Care Center in Wabasha, MN. Scott was born April 26, 1941 to Bernard and Bernnes (Krackow) Gerson.
Scott had a love for the outdoors and the Mississippi River boating, camping, duck hunting, and fishing. He graduated from WSHS. He served his county honorably for 4 years in the US Marine Crops. Retiring in 1965. He had a love for fast cars and he and his brother built seven stockcars that Scott drove at the "Tri Oval" now Mississippi Thunder.
Scott worked for Brad Reagan Retread for 38 years.
Scott is survived by his children and one brother, Garry (Judy) Gerson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Bernnes Gerson, and brother, Butch.
Scott was a true and loyal Vikings fan and will be remembered for the many bus trips to Viking games.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Michael Short officiating with Military Honors by the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel Post 9. Family and friends may meet at the cemetery entrance by 10:55 a.m. Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview is assisting the family with arrangements.
