Scott Paul Brink

Scott Paul Brink, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the age of 58.

Scott’s greatest pride was his family, especially his granddaughter, who brought him endless joy. He placed family above all else and showed his love through constant support, care, and dedication. Known for his attention to detail, Scott took pride in everything he did—from his skills as an outdoorsman to his ability to fix nearly anything. Most importantly, he used those talents to serve and support the people he loved.

He found true happiness in hunting and fishing, passions he carried throughout his life. As a teenager, he often rose early to fish before school, a routine that reflected his lifelong love for the outdoors. Scott also took great pride in preparing his own food, completing the entire process from field to table. He had a deep enthusiasm for cars and firearms, interests he pursued with both knowledge and passion.

Scott is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Tamey Brink of Altura; his parents, Helen and Don Barnewitz of Winona; his sons, Chris Brink of Winona and Josh (Anne) Brink of Corcoran; his cherished granddaughter, Harley Brink; his siblings, Rich (Mary) Brink and Debbie (John) Mercier; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Hansen, and his in-laws, Paul and LaVonne Pettersen.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, 3480 Service Drive, Winona, Minnesota. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m.
