Sandra Voelker

MINNESOTA CITYSandra Voelker, 63 of Minnesota City, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her home surrounded by family.Sandy was born May 2, 1951 in Winona to Kenneth and Alice (Kujak) Haase. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1970. On June 6, 1970, she married Randy Voelker. Together, they raised six children, Brent, Josh, Christopher, Jason, Jeremy, and Jenna. Sandy was a caring, amazing, and spontaneous mom. Some of her favorite activities included gardening, being outdoors, baking, cheering for the Minnesota Vikings, and being involved with church. She will be greatly missed.She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Randy; children, Brent Voelker, Josh (Denise Schaible) Voelker, Christopher (Michele) Voelker, Jason (Amy McKee) Voelker, Jeremy (Tina) Voelker, and Jenna (John) Schell; grandchildren, Hailey, Shelby, Skye, Tayvian, Allie, and Maycie; siblings, Dale Haase, Mary Keen, and Steve Haase; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Richard Haase. Services for Sandy will take place 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 20th, 2015 at First Lutheran Church, 141 Mill Street, Minnesota City with Reverend David Eckert officiating.
