Ryan Sorrelman, 41, of Winona, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Ryan was born on November 12, 1983, in Ada, Okla., to Joe and Virginia Sorrelman. He loved his family deeply and lived a life rooted in compassion and kindness. Ryan found a strong sense of purpose in his work at Art & Sol, where he took great pride in supporting the local community and its artists.
He had a profound appreciation for nature, music, and art, and he cherished every moment spent with family and friends. Always willing to lend a hand, Ryan was known for his generous spirit and warm heart.
Ryan is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Bach Sorrelman; his children, Anyssa Loneeagle Sorrelman Brown, Nevaeh Loneeagle Sorrelman, and Ryan J. Sorrelman; and his stepsons, Westley Lumsden and J.R. Lumsden. He is also survived by his father, Joe Sorrelman; stepmother, Sarah L. Sorrelman; and his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Bach.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: sisters, Kristie Sterling (Kevin) and Carri Yenkala (Joe); brother, Eric Sorrelman (Cecilia); and stepsiblings, Keith Pablo and Jessica Pablo.
Ryan was a cherished uncle to his nieces, Myriah Brown (Kyle), Angela Sterling, Katarina Yenkala, and Savannah Pablo, and his nephews, Tyler Yenkala, Aaron Sterling, and Evan Pablo.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Virginia Sorrelman.
An interment service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 1pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona. There will be a Celebration of Life immediately following from 1:30 - 5:00pm at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Winona.
