Rosa Ross

Rosa Lee Ross was born December 23, 1961, to Emma Jean Ross, who preceded her in death, and Michael Abdullah. Rosa accepted Christ at an early age. She was one of 7 children. She transitioned Monday, November 3, 2025.

Rosa attended WK Sullivan and Hyde Park High School. She held many jobs as a CNA. She was friendly and had a warm personality. Her passion was helping people, and she spent her entire life working with others in their time of need.

Rosa Ross and Frederick Peterson had a beautiful daughter, who they named Miracle because she was their miracle.

Rosa leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Miracle Ross (Jai Green); step-daughter, Lekedra Peterson; 2 grandchildren: Grace and James; brothers: Milton Ross (Tammy), Robert Ross, Harold Barlow; sisters: Cheryl Brown (Darren), Wendy Ross, Renee Barlow; auntie, Shibella Williams (Charles); a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; many other family members and friends; and her closest friends, Bobby Jo, and Elizabeth.
