In Loving Memory of Ronald Mueller

Ronald Paul Mueller, age 86, of Winona, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 5th surrounded by his family and his beloved dog and best friend, Senan.

Ron was born on April 28th, 1940 in Winona to Henry and Myrtle (Sines) Mueller. On February 13th, 1960 he married his high school sweetheart Virginia Mueller. The two had their first date at the Winona Steamboat Days Carnival; that first date marked the beginning of their lifelong journey together. Ron and Virginia spent 62 wonderful years together and raised three children: Pamela, Jeffrey, and Sandra.

Ron worked for many years at Watkins before continuing his career at Winona Printing, where he remained until his retirement.

He lived a life filled with the things he loved most, including hunting, fishing, spending time on the river at his beloved boathouse at the Minnesota City Boat Club, and making memories with his family. His dog, Senan, was his favorite companion and always by his side. In his younger years, he enjoyed annual trips to Las Vegas with his wife and friends, creating many memories that they carried with them for years to come.

Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Throughout his life, he was known for his sense of humor, storytelling, generosity, and kindness. He had a gift for making people laugh. Ron will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his family, daughter Pamela (Craig), their children Adam (Lynn) and Tyler (Stefanie); son Jeffrey (Christine), their children Eric and Claire; daughter Sandra (Brian), their children Austin, Connor, Noah, and Lyndsey, six great-grandchildren Mila, Nora, Maeve, Paxton, Hazel, and Indy; niece Debra Jackson and nephew Rick Brunberg.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Mueller, brother Dick Mueller, sister Beverly Brunberg, brother-in-law Jim Brunberg, nephew Greg Brunberg, and parents Henry and Myrtle Mueller. A private family service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona at a later date.
