Rocklyn "Rocky" Brand

Rocklyn "Rocky" Brand, 67, of Rushford, MN, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at his home.

Rocky was born in Rushford, MN, on January 21, 1958, to Vernon and Marilyn (Johnson) Brand.

After graduating from Rushford Highschool, Rocky met and fell madly in love with Holly Sue Heiden. The two married in 1979, and from this union 4 sons were born. Rocky had a passion for the outdoors, he spent countless hours fishing, hunting, bird watching, gardening, and going for motorcycle rides. He was always up for going on a trip up north, in the pursuit of the elusive musky. Rocky was so proud of the family he and Holly raised, the boys and grandkids where his whole world.

Rocky is survived by his wife Holly, sons; Aaron, Adam, Andrew, Aric, 10 grandkids, 1 great grandchild, siblings; Rick (Ronda) Brand, Rollie Brand, Ross Brand, Diane (Tim) Johnson, Denise (Keith) Raaen, Robert Brand.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister; DeeAnn Westby, nephew; Tyler Johnson, Dylan Westby, and many aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Hoff Funeral Home in Rushford. Visitation will start at 1 p.m. until time of service.
