Robert "Bob" Dresselhaus

Robert "Bob" Dresselhaus, 86 of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Hospital - Rochester, St. Mary's Campus.  Born on July 28, 1937, in Waukon, Iowa, Bob was the son of the late George and Irma (Wiemerslage) Dresselhaus.

He graduated from Waukon High School in 1955 and then served in the National Guard.  Bob married Jean Luebben on April 15, 1966. He worked road construction for several years before he began, Dresselhaus Logging.  Bob was talented when it came to construction and built the house they raised their family in.

Bob enjoyed golfing, fishing, going to the casino and traveling.  He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.  Most of all he enjoyed time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Tracey (Bill) Sholes, Scott Dresselhaus and Russell Dresselhaus; seven grandchildren, Taylor and Jessica Sholes, Calysta, Zackary and Caitlyn Dresselhaus, Brittany (Jay) Johnson and April (Corey) Crivits; great-grandchildren; and one brother, Norman Dresselhaus.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Jenny Dresselhaus and sister-in-law, Beverly Dresselhaus.
