Randy Ray Murphy

Randy Ray Murphy, 73 of Fountain City, died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health System – La Crosse.

Randy was born June 13, 1949 in Minneapolis to Richard and Thelma (Holmen) Murphy.  He moved with his family to Winona and graduated from Winona Senior High.  Randy worked at Winona Manufacturing and Peerless Chain.  Randy married Susan Karnath and they spent 32 wonderful years together until her death in 2020.

He enjoyed woodworking, riding his Harley and boating on the Mississippi. 

Randy is survived by his two children, Nick Murphy and Shannon Murphy; and two grandchildren, Chloe & Micah Porter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue; parents and grandson, Cameron Murphy.
