Penny L. Stark

Penny "Pennie" Louise Stark, 59 of Centerville, WI, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her home with her husband at her side. Penny was born on December 29, 1961 in Winona, MN to Ambrose and Lois (Gross) Schwartz Sr. On April 30, 1994 Penny married the love of her life, Frederick "Fritz" Stark III. He cared for her so lovingly right up to the end.
Penny was so full of life. She lit up the room with song and dance and most of all, laughter. Her greatest joke was her name. I'm cheap - they don't call me Penny for nothing.
Penny was a people person and a true entertainer. Penny and Fritz ran their own karaoke business and the Roadside Drive Inn. She was a waitress/bartender for 18 years, as well as catered weddings with her mom and sister. She loved crafting and was very creative. Penny would make Easter baskets and have them available at her place, the Packer Die Hard Bar & Cafe for all visiting children.
Penny's greatest loves were her nieces and nephews. She loved them as if they were her own and would do anything for them. She loved taking them fishing and camping and she was their #1 sports fan. She taught them to live life with laughter and always be accepting.
Penny will be greatly missed by her husband of almost 27 years, Fritz; siblings, Patricia (Marty) Jacobson, Pamela (Syl) Weaver, Ambie "AJ" (Diane) Schwartz, and Kevin Schwartz; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her in-laws, and more recently her dog; Scrappy.
A Celebration of Life for Penny will be held from 1-5 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Jailhouse Saloon, W25644 State Rd 35/54, Centerville, WI.
