Melody Johnson

Melody Marie Johnson, 65 of Winona, died Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, Rochester – Methodist Campus.

Melody was born June 10, 1960 in Wabasha to Gene and Dolly (Allers) Sanders. She was raised in South Dakota with her mom, Dolly and step-dad, Walt.

She was married to Harold Johnson for several years and they had two daughters, Crystal and Casey. Melody worked over 30 years at Riverside Electronics. She enjoyed walking, gardening, music, dancing and fishing.

Melody is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Cady and Casey Johnson; grandson, Emmette Cady and a sister-in-law, Kathy Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Dolly and brother, Dale Sanders.
