Mary M. Mullen

Mary M. Mullen, 63, of Winona died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, peacefully at her home after battling cancer. She was born on October 23, 1944, in Winona, MN, to Clarence and Ruth (Goetzman) Goergen. She graduated from Winona Senior High School on June 7, 1962. Mary had two beautiful children, Scott and Susan. Mary was married to Jonny Mullen on June 16, 1979. Mary previously worked for Motor Parts and Equipment, the Winona Daily News, and most recently at the Hal Leonard Corporation, which she retired from in April 2007. Mary enjoyed bow hunting, motorcycling on her Harley Davidson, picking her rock gardens, and spending time with her many family and friends.Mary is survived by her husband, Jonny; daughter, Susan (Mike) Mullen, brothers, Steve (Shari) Goergen of Rochester, MN and Bernie (Vicki) Goergen of Winona, MN; sisters, Martha (John) Korrup of Rushford, MN and Beth (Mark) Parma of Rollingstone, MN; father-in-law, Sylvester Mullen; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Scott Gordon, and mother-in-law, Mary J. Mullen.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 11:00am at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service Hansen Goodview Chapel with the Reverend Thomas Hargesheimer officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Friends may call from 9:00am until the time of service at the funeral home on Saturday.
