Marlin Dell Heyer

January 12, 1962 — October 2, 2025

Marlin Dell Heyer passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, after a long battle with bladder cancer.

Marlin embraced life’s adventures with family and friends beside him. He found his greatest joy in snowmobiling, motorcycling, and deer hunting, and he loved spending time cheering on NASCAR races, making memories that will always be cherished.

Marlin’s steadfast dedication was evident in his remarkable work ethic; he proudly never missed a day of work. He devoted over 29 years to RTP and also spent many years helping on the family farm — a true testament to his loyalty, strength, and love of hard work.

Marlin is survived by his children, Matt Iverson (step-son) and Tina Crowson; grandchildren, Levi Peterson, McKenzie Crowson, and Lego Crowson; siblings, Edward (Ramona) Heyer, Rodney (Kathryn) Heyer, and Kristi (Chad) Brandes; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Arlene; and sisters, Margy Heyer and Kathleen Fabian.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12pm with visitation beginning at 10am at Hoff Celebration of Life Center (3480 Service Dr. Winona, MN). A Luncheon will be served immediately following the funeral service. Marlin will be laid to rest at Hiler Cemetery. After the burial, all are invited to celebrate Marlin’s life with a beer at The Shed (35960 Co Hwy 12, Winona, MN).

In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to Team Vogel vs. Cancer or St. Croix Hospice.

Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.
