Marlin Dell Heyer

Marlin Dell Heyer passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, after a long battle with bladder cancer.

He lived his life embracing adventure, with family and friends by his side doing what he loved most, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and deer hunting. Marlin’s favorite memories were often spent cheering on NASCAR races.

His steadfast dedication can be seen in his remarkable work ethic; he proudly never missed a day of work. Marlin spent 29 plus years working for RTP and spent many years helping on the family farm.

Marlin is survived by his children, Matt Iverson (step-son) and Tina Crowson; grandchildren, Levi, Makenzie, and Lego; siblings, Edward (Ramona) Heyer, Rodney (Kathryn) Heyer, and Kristi (Chad) Brandes; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Arlene; and sisters, Margie Heyer and Kathleen Fabian. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 12pm with visitation beginning at 10am at Hoff Celebration of Life Center (3480 Service Dr. Winona, MN). Marlin will be laid to rest at Hiler Cemetery. After the burial, all are invited to celebrate Marlin’s life with a beer at The Shed (35960 Co Hwy 12, Winona, MN).

In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to Team Vogel vs. Cancer or St. Croix Hospice.
