Margaret Nesler

Winona,     Margaret F. Nesler, 77, of Winona died Tuesday August 26th at Lake Winona Manor.      Margaret was born March 14, 1926 in Utica Township to Henry and Frieda (Tesmer) Kiese. She graduated from St. Lutheran School. On September 2, 1944 Margaret and Calvin (Swede) Nesler were married in Lewiston. They farmed in the Oak Ridge and Altura area until moving to Winona. Margaret worked at the Altura Turkey Plant. For many years she was known as "The Avon Lady". Calvin died January 5th, 1997.     Margaret was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Winona.     Survivors include four sons, John of Winona; Gene (Rita) of Altura; Joseph of Plainview and Kenneth of Iowa, a daughter Lynn (Douglas) Harder of Ripon, WI, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandson, Colton Nesler, a brother Harold (Fern) Kiese of Lewiston and many nieces and nephews.     Funeral Services will be 1:30 PM Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Winona with the Rev. Vincent Bain officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Lewiston. Friends may call one hour before services.     Hoff Funeral Home's - Burke Winona Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
