Lyle Kammerer

Lyle Kammerer passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the age of 75.

Lyle was born on July 15, 1950, in Winona, MN, to Raymond and Bernadine (Ashelin) Kammerer. Lyle was united in marriage to Cynthia Mueller on January 14, 1989, in Winona, MN. Together, they built cherished memories on Lone Oak Farm on Kammerer Corner, where family and farming were his virtues.

He was a dedicated member of the 4-H Club and of the Wilson Co-op. Lyle was a proud Packer fan amidst a family of Vikings fans. In his downtime, he found joy in watching "Walker Texas Ranger" and classic westerns.

He had passion for the simple pleasures of life—milking cows, driving around on his 4-wheeler, and field work.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Cynthia; children, Tami (Bryan) Hanson, Adam (Shelby) Kammerer, Katie (Adam) Christiansen; and Emily (Travis Gentry) Kammerer; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Kyle), Logan, Preston, Carson; Evan, Avery, Levi, Lilly; Carter, Lexie, Aiden, and Bryce; and siblings, Judy (Dean) Belter and Jenelle (Ken) Faas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Karen Walch, Ronald Kammerer, and Daryl Kammerer.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, with visitation to follow at 11:30am-12:30pm at Hoff Celebration of Life Center (3480 Service Dr. Winona, MN). A private family burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Winona.

Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
