Kermie Fabian

January 1, 1900 — August 6, 2003

Lewiston,     Kermit “Kermie” Fabian, 66, of Lewiston died Wednesday evening August 6th of Pulmonary Fibrosis at Lake Winona Manor.      Kermie was born October 8, 1936 in Fremont to August and Edith (Grant) Fabian. He and Rose Pelowski were married September 27, 1958. The lived in Utica until moving to Lewiston in 1969. He and Dick Schultz operated a feed mill business in Utica for a few years. He then worked as a Sanitary Engineer for several different owners and retired from Waste Management in 2000.      Kermie was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston. He enjoyed racing, the Green Bay Packers and most of all being around people. He was known for a wonderful sense of humor. Kermie was a very special husband, dad and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.          Survivors include his wife Rose, a daughter Debra (Tom) Mueller of Mendota Heights, four grandchildren, Corey Fabian; Angela Mueller; Kyle and Katie Mollert, a great grandchild Koltyn Fabian, one sister Geneva Karsten of Rosemont,a brother Alvin Fabian of Lewiston and a daughter-in-law Bonnie (Mueller Fabian) Mollert and her husband Perry Mollert. Kermie was preceded in death by a son Rick, two brothers Edward and Elmer and his parents.     Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Lewiston with the Rev. Michael A. Lindemann officiating. Burial will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Lewiston at a later date. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Friday at Hoff Funeral Home’s – Lewiston Chapel. They may also call one hour before services at the church.
