Judith “Judy” Rae Stevens (Weilandt) March 3, 1957 – February 23, 2026

Judith “Judy” Rae Stevens, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, at the age of 68, surrounded by her loving family. Judy’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, kindness, and devotion to those she held dear. Her gentle presence and warm heart will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Judy was born on March 3, 1957, in Winona, Minnesota, to Raymon and Maxine Weilandt. Throughout her life, she was known for always putting others before herself, offering care, encouragement, and compassion without hesitation. On July 3, 1976, she married her soulmate, Scott Stevens, in Winona, Minnesota. Their marriage was one of deep love, partnership, and unwavering commitment, and together they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and family.

Judy dedicated many years of her life working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Sauer Memorial Home in Winona. She approached her work with compassion and tenderness, treating every resident as if they were family. Caring for others was not just her profession it was who she was at her core.

At home, Judy found happiness in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved listening to music, watching the Minnesota Twins, tending to her garden, and watching the birds that gathered outside her window. She found peace in nature and joy in nurturing life, whether it was flowers in bloom or the wildlife she so enjoyed observing.

Her heart, however, belonged most fully to her family. Judy treasured every moment spent with her children and grandchildren, celebrating their accomplishments, comforting them in difficult times, and surrounding them with unconditional love. She was the heart of her family the one who made gatherings special, who remembered the little things, and who always made sure everyone felt cared for.

A woman of faith, Judy shared her love and guidance by teaching Sunday school at Saint Matthews Church. She found fulfillment in helping children learn and grow, quietly planting seeds of kindness and faith that will continue to flourish.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Scott Stevens of Stockton, Minnesota; her children, Jesse Stevens (Tasha Almatrok) of Winona, Minnesota; Adam Stevens (Stephanie Andresen-Stevens) of Dakota, Minnesota; Kathryn Ladewig (Mike) of Stockton, Minnesota; and Victoria Lang (Troy) of Lewiston, Minnesota. She was a proud and adoring grandmother to Raylyn, Jeffrey, Lillian, and Vivian.

She also lovingly embraced her step-grandchildren, Yousef, Reed, Carter, Kassy, and Marissa, and her step-great-grandchild, Quinnley, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is also survived by her mother, Maxine Weilandt (Polus); her sisters, Karen Bone, Mary Jo Paine, and Lori Hagen; and her brothers, Tony Weilandt, Mike Weilandt, and Joseph Weilandt; along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Raymon Weilandt.

Judy will be remembered as an extraordinary woman whose love knew no bounds. She gave selflessly, loved deeply, and created a lifetime of memories that will be treasured forever. Though she is no longer with us, the love she poured into her family will continue to guide and comfort them. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the family she nurtured, and the countless quiet acts of kindness that defined her life.

Funeral services will be held 11am on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Hoff Celebration of Life Center (3480 Service Dr. Winona, MN), with visitation beginning at 10am.

Arrangements are entrusted to Hoff Funeral Home in Winona, Minnesota.
