Judith Anderson

Judith Marie Anderson, age 78, of Dodge, WI, died Monday, August 3, 2025 at her home in Dodge, WI, following a battle with colon cancer.

She was born March 8, 1947 in Winona, MN, the daughter of Maurice and Eleanor (Streng) Anderson. She attended Cotter Schools and Winona Senior High. In her younger years she enjoyed Jeep racing. Judy owned and operated the Long Branch Saloon in Dodge, WI for 40 years. She loved taking part in the Dodge Horse Trail Ride, even allowing horses to pass through the bar. She enjoyed making “grandma’s jelly”, and going to auctions. She was a member of the Red Hat Society for several years. Judy loved music and playing guitar, and teaching her grandchildren how to play as well. She was an avid Elvis fan. Judy was a happy grandmother to 14 grandchildren, and loved spending time with them. To Judy, keeping her family together was one of the most important things in her life. Family mattered the most to her.

She is survived by her children: Troy (Karen) Brugger of Lewiston, MN, Todd (Kathy) Brugger of Minnesota City, MN, Tim (Darcy) Brugger of Farmington, MN, Travis Brugger of Arcadia, WI, Mike “Bone” Wieczorek of Dodge, WI, Misty Wieczorek of Fountain City, WI; grandchildren: Dillon (Tori), Amber, Brooke, Jenna, Thomas, Nathan, Lindsey, Gretchen, Patreca, Mason, Aiden, Parker, Liberty; and many great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon; many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Cutie Pie.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Kazi Parker.
