Joseph L. Sutton, 71, of St. Charles, died Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his wife and kids. He passed from complications of the long-term effects of Agent Orange exposure, while serving his country in Vietnam. Joe was born March 6, 1950 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester to Francis and Frances (Klein) Sutton.
He married Pam Block in August of 1989 in Rochester. He is survived by his wife, Pam, five children: Christie (Justin) Tlougan, Patrick (Melissa) Sutton, Jesse Sutton, Trina (Brad) Raymond, and Cole Sutton, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, and five sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Joe enjoyed deer hunting, carpentry, and woodworking, as well as raising and riding horses. More recently, Joe was a member of the VFW Post 1215 in Rochester and the Vietnam Veterans of America. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the VFW. A private family interment will be held. A Memorial gathering will be from 12 - 3 pm, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at VFW Post 1215, 2775 43rd.
