Jeremy David Brickner

Aug 13, 1984 — Jul 6, 2026

Jeremy David Brickner, 41, of Winona, Minnesota, passed away on July 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Jeremy was born on August 13, 1984, in Winona, Minnesota, to James and Karen Brickner. He grew up in Winona, where he built lifelong friendships and discovered a passion for construction at an early age.

Construction wasn't simply Jeremy's occupation; it was part of who he was. He began working in the construction industry at just 13 years old, developing the strong work ethic that would define much of his life. He took tremendous pride in the work he did, believing in doing the job right, working hard, and never shying away from a challenge. His dedication, craftsmanship, and quiet determination earned the respect of those who had the privilege of working alongside him. Jeremy measured a good day not by what he had, but by what he accomplished, the people he spent it with, and the memories they made together. His remarkable skill, knowledge, and ability to tackle almost any project will be remembered by all who had the opportunity to work beside him.

Jeremy wasn't afraid to do things his own way. He could be stubborn, and those who knew and loved him wouldn't have described him any other way. His determination and unwavering loyalty were simply part of who he was. He was always willing to lend a helping hand when a friend needed one, and the loyalty and kindness he gave were returned many times over through the lifelong friendships he treasured.

Outside of work, Jeremy found his greatest enjoyment in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was hunting, ice fishing, snowmobiling, or tending to his garden, where he had a true green thumb. He enjoyed firing up the grill, listening to country music, and spending time with family, friends, and the dogs he loved. Whether he was on a job site, in the woods, on the trails, out on the ice, or working in his garden, Jeremy was happiest doing what he loved and sharing those moments with the people who mattered most. Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, dependable nature, and the genuine friendships he built over the years.

Jeremy is survived by his loving parents, James and Karen Brickner; his brothers, James, Jason (Sherry), Adam (Kate), and Anthony; his sister, Anna-Marie; his nephews, Benjamin (Chloe), Justin, Burke, Braeden, and Gavin; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his beloved niece, Hadley, and other cherished members of his extended family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Hoff Celebration of Life Center.
