Jeff Wayne Schueler

September 8, 1961 — September 19, 2023

Winona

Jeff Wayne Schueler, 62, of Winona, passed away on September 19th, 2023, in the comfort of his own home. He was born on Sept. 8th, 1961, in Pensacola, Florida, to his parents Al and Carol (Sandvik) Schueler, and the family moved to Winona when he was 2 years old. Though he was preannounced dead at age 5 when he was struck by a car on Mankato Avenue, he lived on to touch the hearts of many in our community.

Employed by Gordies Standard, The Railroad, TRW, RTP, his own self-employment as American Salvage, and more, Jeff was most well known for his long-standing employment of over 20 years at Kwik Trip on the corner of Mankato Avenue and Broadway (6th Street) where his wit, humor, and general influence was revered as daily life in the East End of Winona.

Jeff is survived by his brothers, Jon, Gene, and James, sons; Cody, Bradley, and Jordan, and grandsons; Alexander and Jerich Schueler. He was preceded in death by his parents.

King Lord Master, a thousand men (and more women) would take up arms to give you one more day of your jokes, your knowledge, your compassion… Your legacy lives on inside us all.

The family will be hosting a grand celebration of life on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, at the J.C. Pavilion by Lake Winona from noon until 4 p.m. All are welcome.
