Henry Roger Vogel III

Henry Roger Vogel, 59, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, April 21, 2025 in Winona, MN.

Henry was born on June 29th, 1965, to Henry Roger and Naita Joan Vogel in Dallastown, PA, and was one of nine children.

He lived in and attended schools in several states and settled in Winona, MN. Henry graduated from Cotter High School in 1984 and enjoyed many long-term friendships. He had some post High School education in Electronics.

Henry worked for several businesses in Winona, Wisconsin and Wyoming with the longest employment being at Badger Foundry.

Henry lived on the lake in Goodview and thrived there. He loved to fish off the docks and have family over for BBQ. He hosted some holidays and loved his family. He enjoyed sharing his love for old vehicles with his brothers. He hunted with his dad and siblings & brought home a few nice deer and some great stories!

Henry was quite humorous and loved good comedy. He was kind hearted, helpful, and protective of his family, especially his sisters.

Henry is survived by his parents; Henry & Joan Vogel; girlfriend, Judi Palmer; siblings: Joe (Julie) Vogel of Brighton, CO, Mike (Shelly) Vogel of Winona, MN, Paulette Hesch of Arcadia, WI, Patty (Rich) Harris of Winona, MN, George (Deb) Vogel of Winona, MN, Cheryl (Rick) Barker Hudson, WI, and Nancy (Dean) Olausen of White Bear Lake, MN; many nieces & nephews. Henry will also be missed by his close friend, Paul and his Harris Brothers.

Henry was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen; maternal grandparents, Frances & Delmar Jacobson of California; and paternal grandparents, Henry & Pauline Vogel of Arcadia, WI.

Henry's family would like to express a special thank you to Winona Health, Winona Area Ambulance and Emergency personnel, Winona Hospice, Father McNae and Sauer Memorial Home. Your loving care and professionalism did not go unnoticed.

A Celebration of life will be held 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Spillway Pavillion, Prairie Island.

Memorials are welcome to the family to set up a Kids Fishing Day in Henry’s memory.

Hoff Celebration of Life Center is assisting the family.
