Glen L. Hines

THOUGHTFUL, KIND, GIVING , SINCERE, HUMBLE and LOVING

Glen L. Hines, 79, of Winona, MN passed away on November 30, 2025.

He married Carol (Schmidt) Hines on October 11, 1975. Glen will be greatly missed by his wife, three sons, their wives and four grandsons: Jeff (Angela) Hines, and Michael, Joe (Jolaine) Hines, Merrick and Royce, Jon (Justine) Hines, and Russell. Glen's siblings are Marj (Ron) Blado, Al (Jeanne) Hines, Phee (Robert) Crosland and Bob (Kathy) Hines. His sister-in-law is Nancy (Ed) Mattheeussen. Glen has many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and hundreds of thankful students from his long teaching career. Friends could always count on Glen to be there for them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Eileen Hines, in-laws, Marie and Emil Schmidt and Rich Schmidt.

There will be a Celebration of Glen's Life this summer, 2026.

Memorials can be given to The Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
