Gary Tulius

Gary Melvin Tulius, age 78, of Winona, MN, died at St. Anne Benedictine Living on Monday, September 8, 2025, following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Gary was born October 1, 1946, in Winona, the son of Melvin and Marion (Matzke) Tulius. He graduated from Winona Senior High in 1964. He honorably served in the United States Army from 1968-1971, including a tour in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive from 1968-1969. The last part of his tour was spent in Germany from 1970-1971.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Kathy Tulius.

He is survived by his brother, Larry (Sue) Tulius of Winona.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to St. Anne Benedictine Living Community, and Winona Health Hospice for their care.

A private family interment will be held at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Preston, MN.
