Elene Marie Bork

Elene M. Bork, 82, of Fountain City, WI, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2019, at her home in Fountain City, WI. Elene was born on September 17, 1936, in Fountain City, WI to Clarence and Adela (Stark) Tacke.
Elene married Roy Bork on October 16, 1954, at St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Winona. Elene had farmed and owned/operated the Hilltop Bar & Ballroom with her husband Roy in rural Fountain City. They later divorced and she remarried. She worked and retired from The Winona Knitting Mills. Elene's hobbies were sewing, wood crafting, and machine embroidery. She also had many collections some of them including salt & pepper shakers, collectible dolls, porcelain elephants, and gnome figurines.
Elene is survived by her 4 children: Sondra (Michael) Merth of Turtle Lake, Susan (Ray) Kamrowski of Arcadia WI, Scott Bork of Fountain City WI, Sherry (Paul) Sievers of Forest Lake MN; 10 grandchildren: Deidra Tuxen (Ben Cornelius), Katie (Merth) Pflueger, Mitchell Merth , Jennifer (Larry) Solberg, Jason (Casey Literski) Kamrowski, Justin (Monica) Kamrowski, Joshua (Becky Woodke) Kamrowski, Brandon (Patti) Bork, Amanda Sievers (Keagan Anderson), Ariel Sievers; 10 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Roy Bork, and 1 son-in-law: David Tuxen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2019 with visitation one hour prior at Hoff Celebration of Life Center, Goodview. Burial will be in the Fountain City Public Cemetery, Fountain City, WI.
