Dennis Warren Brown

Dennis W. Brown, age 74 of Stewartville, died on January 3, 2026 at Mayo Health System-Rochester on St. Mary's Campus.

Dennis Warren was born on June 17, 1951 the son of Warren Earl and Genevieve Arlene (nee Hansen) Brown in Chatfield, MN. He attended school in Chatfield and graduated in 1969 and then went on to attend RCTC for Electrical Testing. He worked at E. F. Johnson for many years, held many positions in cellular companies working in radio tech and retired in 2016. Dennis and Donna Jean Schuler were united in marriage in Austin, MN in 1972. They shared 50 years together before divorcing. Dennis lived in Princeton, MN following his retirement and moved to Stewartville in 2023. He was an electronics fanatic and was interested and greatly talented in radio repair and component level repair.

Dennis is survived by his children Derrick Brown of Forsyth, Missouri and Dawn (Andy) Bakritges of Maple Grove, MN, two grandsons Nikkos and Christos Bakritges of Maple Grove, MN.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2006, his mother in 2019, sister Sandy Benham in May of 2013 and a stillborn daughter, Denise, in 1973.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dennis' name to the Mayo Clinic Alzheimer's Disease Research Center in Rochester are greatly appreciated by the family.

Dennis will be buried in the Chatfield City Cemetery at a later date.
