Dennis Edman

Dennis Frank Edman, 81, of West Salem, died on Sunday, June 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 13, 1941, in Chicago to Charles and Veronica (Efta) Edman. Dennis married the love of his life, Maureen (Kelly) on December 3, 1960.

Dennis was a family man. He loved going camping and fishing with his friends and family. Dennis was always lending a helping hand and was a good friend to all. He was welcoming, kind, compassionate, and strong. Dennis strived to better himself every day. He was driven to become the best version of himself, and inspired others over the years.  He will be remembered by his selflessness and accepting personality.

Dennis is survived by his children, Kenneth Edman, Kimberly Edman, Kristeen (Edwin) Gray, Keith Edman; 10 loving grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and all his adored adopted grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maureen, daughter, Kathy; brother, Chuck; and sister, Darleen.

A celebration of life will take place on a later date.
