David Koenig

David Robert Koenig, 57, of Chatfield died Saturday, November 23, 2019 at his home. David was born October 18, 1962 in Winona to Lloyd and Dolores (House) Koenig. He was raised in St. Charles and graduated from St. Charles High School in 1981. David was an avid motocross racer in his youth. He also enjoyed woodworking and was hands on person with a talent for art.
Survivors include his daughter, Shannon (Eric) Heitmann of Winter Garden, FL, grandchildren; Chase, Jaxon and Truett, siblings; Roger (Priscilla) Koenig of St. Charles, Patricia of St. Charles, Tom Koenig of Stockton, Karen Koenig (Janice Benton) of Turlock, CA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services to remember David will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hoff Funeral and Cremation Service in St. Charles, with Pastor Charlie Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
