David Deering, age 66, of Minnesota City, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026. He was born on May 20, 1960, to Gerald and Lois (Schumacher) Deering. David always looked up to his father and followed in his footsteps with his love of the outdoors and the satisfaction of a job well done. He also inherited his mother’s gentle and kind demeanor. They would be proud to know he donated his organs at the end of his life so that others could live. David was married to Kay for nearly 26 years, and their life together was a great adventure. There will be no public service, but David always enjoyed a cold beer, so if the moment should arise, have a toast in his memory.
