Daniel McCammon

Daniel Louis McCammon, age 74, of Onalaska, WI, died Friday, August 7, 2026, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI.

Daniel was born August 12, 1951, in Macomb, IL, the son of William and Sara (Hall) McCammon. He worked as a conductor for the railroad for many years. Dan loved to ride motorcycles, and was a Harley guy. He was known to his grandkids as Grandpa Harley. Barb Burchill was the love of his life, and the couple shared many wonderful years together.

Daniel is survived by Barb; son, Daniel (Gloria) McCammon; grandchildren: Daniela, Emily, and Christopher McCammon, Vincent and Tony Fritsch; and brother, David McCammon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Christian Fritsch.

A Celebration of Dan’s Life will be held on September 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston, Minnesota. If you have a Harley, please ride it to the Celebration. And if you have a Harley-Davidson shirt, definitely wear it in Dan’s honor.
