Cheryl Louise (LaBare) Graham, of Winona, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on February 21, 2026. She was born on June 23, 1945, in Rochester, Minnesota to Wesley and Helen LaBare and spent her early years on the family farm in Eyota. Cheryl graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1963.
On October 28, 1966, she married Richard Graham, and together they built a beautiful life together in various communities across southeast Minnesota before settling in Winona, where they lived for 50 years. She worked at IBM initially, did in-home childcare while raising her children, and then joined the Art Department at Wincraft where she retired after 26 years.
Cheryl had a heart of gold, was very patriotic and had a strong faith. Family meant the world to her. She loved being a grandmother and adored her two grandchildren to the moon and back. She always cherished her relationships with family and friends and made everyone feel loved. Known for her beautiful gardens, love of flowers, and talent for crafts, sewing and quilting, Cheryl found joy in the simple things. She was also a devoted sports fan, cheering on her favorite Minnesota teams including the Vikings, Twins, Gophers, and Wild. She was actively involved in the Golden Grads Committee for Dover-Eyota High School and was a member of Viola Bible Church in Viola and Grace Presbyterian Church in Winona.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Richard Graham; children, Darrin (Kris) Graham of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, Darwin Graham of Winona; grandchildren, Raegan Graham, Kaden Graham; siblings, Doug (Vicky) LaBare, Steve (Sandra) LaBare, Craig (Veronica) LaBare; in-laws, Gary Graham, Larry (Linda) Graham; nieces and nephews, Kim, Kevin, Theresa, Brian, Eric, Heather, Bridget, Brittany, Nick, Shawn, David, Vanessa & Carmela.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wes and Helen; child, baby boy at birth; siblings, Jeffrey and Terry; In-laws, Ivan and Robert; and niece, Tamara.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, caregivers, and friends at Gunderson Clinic & Hospital, Winona Hospital, Winona Fire & EMS, and Gundersen Hospice for their unwavering care and support throughout this journey.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Hoff Funeral Home in St. Charles, MN from 4pm to 7pm. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Viola Bible Church at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Eyota.
In lieu of flower, donations can be made to the Gundersen Medical Foundation – Paula’s Purse Cancer Patient. This fund supports cancer patients and their families who need financial assistance. Donations can be made through the link below in Memory of Cheryl Graham.
