Charles Meisch

Altura, Charles A. Meisch, 82, of Altura died Monday March 8, 2004 at Lewiston Villa. Charles was born January 4, 1922 in Mount Vernon Township of Winona County to Edward and Mathilda (Mandalke) Meisch. He and Mary Bedtke were married July 21, 1975. He was a lifetime area farmer and former co-owner of Meisch Brothers Garage/ Radio and T-V, established in 1938. Survivors include his wife Mary, a son Charles R. (Marcia) Meisch and granddaughter Rachel of Rochester, and a brother Joseph of Altura. A Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone with the Rev. Michael Cronin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery at Oak Ridge. Friends may call at Holy Trinity Catholic Church from 5-8 PM Wednesday and one hour before services Thursday. There will be a Christian Wake Service at 7:30 PM Wednesday at the church. Hoff Funeral Home's ? St. Charles Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
