Carolyn J. Kryzer

Carolyn Jeanne Kryzer, 34 of Winona, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 16, 2020 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on August 6, 1985 in River Falls, WI to Thomas and Lola (Scott) Schmidt. Carolyn graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 2003. On October 22, 2009 she married the love of her life, Seth Kryzer.
Carolyn was a gentle soul who enjoyed going for walks. She could often be found sitting near bodies of water watching the currents move. She loved the sound of rain but hated thunderstorms. Carolyn spent her time reading and was curious about everything. She was always willing to talk but preferred to just sit and listen to others, She enjoyed baking and would often make treats to give away, just because. Carolyn lived for her family and friends, and believed in being kind to anyone she met. Carolyn traveled through her life's journey on her own schedule and was late to everything.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Seth; parents, Thomas and Lola; siblings, Matthew Schmidt, Michael (Jessica) Schmidt, Kathryn Schmidt, Mark (Markia) Schmidt, Christine Schmidt, Rachel (Michael) Parkes, and Daniel Schmidt; grandparents, Glen and Betty Schmidt; nieces & nephews, Dayanara, Bennett, Leon, Malachi, Greyson, Samantha, Tyler, Dj, Zachary, and Everet; father and mother-in-law, George and Betty Kryzer; brothers-in-law, Donald Kryzer and Richard (Wendy) Kryzer; sister-in-law, Dana Peterson (Kryzer).
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald and Irene Scott; uncles, Tim Schmidt and William Scott; and aunt, Evangeline Hart.
