Carole Albrecht

Carole Jean Albrecht, age 80, of Rushford, MN, died Friday, May 8, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Carole was born June 21, 1945, in Fargo, ND to Harold and Mildred Smith. She was united in marriage to Gary Albrecht September 12, 1968, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilson, MN, where she was a member.

She will be remembered for working many years at Watkins in Winona. Carole enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband, collecting bells, and doing word search puzzles.

Carole is lovingly survived by her husband, Gary; sons: Terry (Rana) Albrecht of Utica, MN, and Scott Albrecht (Amanda Koehler) of Rushford, MN; granddaughter, Cassidy Albrecht of Canton, MN; sisters: Kathy (Len) Larson of Houston, MN, and Sharon (John) Evenoff of California.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Wayne Albrecht; and brother, Gary Smith.

A funeral service will be Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilson, MN, with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Visitation will also be Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 4-7pm at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
