Carmon J. Rossow, 89, formerly of St. Charles, passed away after a brief illness.

Carmon was born in St. Charles, MN on May 19, 1937, to Irwin and Grace Mueller. She graduated from St. Charles High School and later cosmetology school in Winona, MN. She married Arthur Ellinghuysen, he preceded her in death. She later married Virgil Rossow, and they spent 41 years together.

Carmon enjoyed her years owning her Beauty Salon on main street in St. Charles. After selling her business, she continued to work her magic at Bethany Samaritan Heights and the Charter House. Carmon was very involved in the United Church of Christ community, as well as the St. Charles Senior Center. Carmon was an amazing cook and her coffee cake was a family favorite.

Virgil and Carmon spent many years with a big garden in the summer and taking numerous motorcycle trips out West. In the winter months, you could find them in Gulf Shores, AL.

Carmon was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Arthur and Virgil and most recently, her fur companion, Gracie.

Carmon is survived by her son, Marti (Deb); grandsons, Matt (Jess) and Joey (Bailly); great-grandchildren, Milo, Benny, Hattie & Drayton.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
