Carl Davis

Carl L. Davis, 98, of Winona, MN passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2026. Carl was born November 3, 1927 in Harrisburg, IL., to Daniel R. Sr. and Ruthie Conley Davis. On February 15, 1947, he married Wilma Elaine Nye in Milford, MI. He was employed as a Park Ranger at the Kensington Metro Park in Michigan, and as a Trucker for many years. With his wife Elaine they also operated a Group Home for Adults with disabilities. Carl enjoyed traveling, camping, reading and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife Elaine, daughter Janet, Granddaughter Shannon, and Grandson Sean. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Edie), Robert (Linda), daughters Karen (John) Nelson, Kristine Wyszynski, Judy (Martin) Becker and Jean Bridge; grandchildren, Robert, Daniel, Joseph, Patrick, Samantha, Sarah and Danielle; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. A private burial and memorial service is planned for a later date. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
