Brian Louis Larson

Brian was welcomed into heaven just shy of his earthly 56^th birthday. He was preceded by his best friend/sister Brenda who prepared the path for him 2 months prior. Brian was born to Donald E & Eleanor D. Larson in Wabasha, MN. He grew up with 12 siblings (6 brother & 6 sisters). He was #10 of 13.

He followed the family from Wabasha, MN to Waseca, MN, Rockford, Il, Royal Oak, MI & Michigan Hills, MI, Winona, MN & Caledonia, MN & lastly in a group home in Rochester, MN.

Brian married Tania M. Eldred on 7/29/1995 & being a strong family man helped care for their daughter Shelby Larson (6/18/1994) & her son David Rhodes & daughter Laura Rhodes until their divorce in the late 1990’s.

Brian (aka Charlie brown) held a strong passion & commitment for his family his entire life. He was quite the humorous jokester who always had a smile on his face & a joke at the ready. He was compassionate, outgoing, gregarious, spiritual. He loved the Mississippi, the Levee, fishing, camping, BBQ’s, nature & animals.

He was grateful for anything you offered whether it was your time, a phone call, a meal out or cigarettes. He loved to imbibe and there are many good times & adventures that included climbing a water tower, scaling the bluffs at Sugar Loaf or trekking to Garvin Heights in a snow storm. Not saying who accompanied him on these adventures (Paul).

In spite of a brain aneurism @ 17 he managed to find his way to his brother Jeff’s in the Cities from St Cloud, MN with only an address (Google Maps weren’t a thing at the time). He worked in MI doing construction & drywall. He also was a great late night short order cook @ Kwik Trip. He had aspirations to be a writer, working again in construction & moving back to Winona to live with Brenda. Brian lived many lives in his short time here.

Brian is survived by siblings, Deborah L. (David) Eggenberger, Jeffery E. Larson, Mary E. Larson, Laura E. Muccino, Barbara A. Rodriguez, Paul A. (Amiee) Larson, Christopher A. Larson. Daughter, Shelby Larson. Nieces & nephews, Nicole Muccino, Vanessa Larson, Vincent Larson, Matthew (Matt) Larson, Melissa (Antoine) Byse, Seth Frick, Alexia Brace Dobbratz, Miles Larson and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins & friends. Preceded in death by Parents Donald E. Larson, Eleanor D. (Larson) Brink & Richard Brink. Sisters, Linda D. Larson, Brenda R. Ramier, Brothers, Donald J. Larson, Kevin G. Larson, & Matthew (Matt) G. Larson. & Brother-in-law John D. Ramier.

Private family services will be held.  Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview is assisting the family with arrangements.
