Bonnie Mae Kinstler, 78, of Houston, MN died on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at her home with her family at her side.

Bonnie was born on April 3, 1944, in Rushford, MN to Kermit and Alma Anderson. She was raised in Rushford and was a graduate of Rushford High School. Bonnie worked as a nurses aide at Mayo Clinic in Rochester for a year. On September 7, 1963, she was united in marriage with Dennis Kinstler. In 1965, the couple bought a farm on Perkins Valley Drive in rural Houston, where Bonnie lived for the remainder of her life. Bonnie enjoyed raising and milking goats. She especially enjoyed the baby goats. Bonnie also worked for her daughter's daycare for several years. Bonnie was a member of the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston. She was a Sunday school teacher and superintendent, as well as helping the kids in the church choir. In the early 2000s, Bonnie was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Bonnie battled through her illness with great courage and humility.

She is survived by her husband, Dennis; three children: Karmen Kinstler-Kumbier, Korey (Jennifer) Kinstler, and Kalvin Kinstler; and six grandchildren: Jim, Renee, Ben, Ethan, Logan, and Lauren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents., two sons: Ken and Karsten; a grandson, Joseph; and three siblings: Kenny, Mavis, and Donnie.

There will be a funeral service for Bonnie at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston. Burial will be in the Stone Church Cemetery in Houston. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
