Angela “Angie” (Lanswerk) Hoeser died on Monday, May 11, 2026, surrounded with love from the family she cherished. Angie was born on September 27, 1968, to Craig and Sharon (née Smith) Lanswerk in Caledonia, MN. She spent most of her life in Goodview and Winona, graduating from Winona Senior High, and working for 38 years helping patients feel less anxious about visiting the dentist, as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Gary Granseth and Dr. Ryan Gerts.
Angie’s fierce devotion to family and friends will be sorely missed, comforted by joyful memories of trips to a beach with “the girls”, to the Dells for some shopping & fun, or to the cabin with her family for some R&R, boat rides, campfires, bowling, and golfing. She treasured every single moment spent with her young grandsons. It is our hope that, together, we will keep her memory alive for them through stories, traditions, and the unconditional love of family and dear friends.
Angie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eldon and Wanda (née Bergrud) Smith, and her paternal grandparents, Jerry Lanswerk, Everett Hagen, and Doris (née Dvergsten) Lanswerk Hagen. She is survived by her beloved daughter, McKenzie (Adam) Frickson, and their adorable boys, Ashton and Aiden of Houston, MN; her parents, Craig and Sharon Lanswerk; her sister, Tammy (Derek) Bosteter of Winona; her nieces: Darienne (Andy) Frickson and their children – Paislee, Jolena, and Gentry of Dakota; Kayla (Laceylyn Merchlewitz) Bosteter of Winona; Ava Manning and Dempsey Jeffries of McKinney, TX; and countless lifelong friends.
A celebration of Angie’s life will be Sunday, May 17, 2026, 1pm-4pm at Hoff Celebration of Life Center (3480 Service Dr. Goodview, MN). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Glioblastoma Research Organization (www.gbmresearch.org/donate) or the Glioblastoma Foundation (www.glioblastomafoundation.org).
