Angela “Angi” Lois Bacon-Burke, 56, passed away on September 19, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones.
On March 12, 1969, Kent and Ida Mae Bacon welcomed their fourth child, their only daughter, into the world. Angi was a force to be reckoned with, consistently living life loudly and joyfully, while sticking to her values of kindness and acceptance.
Despite the various health challenges she faced throughout life, Angi was always positive and humble, leaning heavily on her faith and her zest for life.
Angi loved her family fiercely, especially her children and grandchildren. But who she considered family was expansive, given her welcoming nature. Angi had a gift for loving people, making them feel heard, seen, and valued.
Angi always kept busy and took great pride in her work as a realtor, with the tagline "Everything is better with Bacon." She worked happily with her husband, Peter, and daughter, Mel.
Angi is preceded in death by her parents, Kent and Ida Mae Bacon, her son, Moses, and her grandchild, Jessalynn Hermann. Angi is survived by her loving husband, Peter Burke; her four children, Mel (Paul) Hermann, Brynn (Will) Strange, Tova Strange, and Bathscheba Duronvil; her four stepchildren, Jacob (Meghan) Burke, Morgan (Matt) Zamaites, Nate Burke, and Nick Burke; and her three brothers, Aaron (Sharon) Bacon, Tim (Rhoda) Bacon, and Kel (Kim) Bacon. Angi will also be lovingly remembered by her seven-plus grandchildren.
