I Worked with Helen for 3 years. they say you can get to close and you cant play favorites, but with her it was kinda hard. she was always my favorite and always a good person to see when i walked in the door. she brightened my day when i would see her wheeling around on her own and eating good. i enjoyed secret Santa this past Christmas i was so excited i got to have her. dressing her up with clothes, Jewelry, lipstick the whole nine yards. she didn't always say much, but when she did she could light up a crowd. when i heard she was 100 the fisrt year i started i was amazed, and when her 103rd birthday came around i just had to doll her up.
i'm going to miss that women, but i'm so great full i got to know her!!
What a sweet lady Helen was. Many good memories of our time together, as a young child with my parents and then again as an adult. My sympathy Lorna.
I worked with Helen at Pete Summers' Coast to Coast hardware store for two years. She was a very nice
Lady. She is in a better place now.
I was saddened to hear of Helens passing. I enjoyed time with Helen talking family history and visiting West Ridge together. I will always cherish the memories I have of her. Thoughts and prayers to Helens family.
