Adelaide M. Waby, 93, of St. Charles died Friday January 8,
2010 at Golden Living Center East in Rochester.

She was born November 17, 1916 at Clyde, Minnesota to Edward
and Jessie (Buffam) Campbell. She attended Clyde grade school and
graduated from St. Charles high School in 1933. Adelaide married Tim
Waby on September 17, 1935 in St. Charles. They farmed in rural St.
Charles and moved to town in 1987. Adelaide worked at St. Charles
Mercantile Store, Wires Variety, Culligan Soft water and as a Dental
Hygienist. She was a member of St. Charles United Church of Christ,
also a member of the Sunshine Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star
and was a Past Worthy Matron.

Survivors include two sons, James (Dolores) Waby of Rochester
and Curtis Waby of St. Charles, two grandsons, Timothy and Paul Waby,
both of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her husband Tim on
February 3, 1996 and by two sisters Annath Zaudke and Jesse Mae Miller
and two brothers, John and Don Campbell.

Services will begin at 2PM Tuesday at Hoff Funeral & Cremation
Service in St. Charles. An Order of the Eastern Star Service at 2PM
will be followed by Adelaide's funeral service with Jason Chamberlain of
St. Charles United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the
spring at Hillside Cemetery in St. Charles. Friends may call from 12:30
